OK OK, first off when I'm home YES I own the remote! It is MY tv after all :) My shows are 24, Sharks hockey and motorcycle races.

I raced at Sears Point for 6 years and learned more about riding than 15+ years on the street. I would recommend exactly what HOTTIEBOY says when a V-twin tractor sportbike rolls up behind you, my arms literally get pulled out of their sockets...and that rocks!

My Duc in 6th gear is doing 90 at 5500rpm. I have passed cops and because it is so lazy sounding they don't even look up :)

And after reading SixPack's post, I need another beer...Maximus!

BTW, all the guys in our platoon did 24 hour marathons on the days that we had off. We watched three seasons in about 4 days. THAT ROCKED! It was such a huge motivation tool for the guys.

My hog in 5th @ 4100 is doing 90, & it's the busiest 90 you ever experience!! Cyl's poppin', hooker muffs belchin, seat vibrating to all heck, tire noise, drive belt noise, ZZTop or Aerosmith screamin out of the player, bugs rearranging my face, eye balls drying up....

And then some guy on a crotch rocket passes me by like I'm standing still.... And didn't wave!!

So I put the kick stand down and got off the bike, I thought I was stopped.

Two weeks later when I woke up in the hospital, the first thing I asked the nurse was how many episodes of 24 did I miss!! :-)

Hey SFC Chromey, HOTTIEBOY here.

Most race spec bikes, and when I say race spec I mean race spec, are equipped with speed sensors on each wheel. They monitor front wheel speed as opposed to real wheel speed.
These sensors will retard the timing for a slip second if the front wheel comes of the ground and if the rear wheel starts spinning to allow for control or traction.

Now imagine riding a bike equipped with this mechanism that is wired backwards.

Yeah. Front wheel thinks it's rear and rear thinks its front.

Imagine coming out of the straight after turn 7 at Sears point and your front tire touches down at 145mph. As soon as the front tire touches the speed sensors retard the timing and your rear wheel locks up. Wild ride.

I would much rather ride a replica than the real thing. It takes way too much skill to control those monsters.
