LOL. That's a riot. Cal was too good at 3rd to be left there and instead swithced positions to use his arm strength more effectively. You don't get moved to shortstop because you have a weak arm.

Rolen isn't better than Brooks Robinson or Graig Nettles at this point in his career either.

So, every 3rd baseman is there because he's not good enough to play shortstop? Clearly, you're the funny guy here. As someone said previously, "Put down the pipe."

You don't get moved to shortstop because you have a weak arm.

Don't be ridiculous. No one suggested Ripken had a weak arm. In fact, his arm strength, although not as good as Rolen's, made up for his lack of quickness, which is why he was a better fit for shortstop. You simply do not put someone with Rolen's arm, range, and quickness at shortstop. You need him at 3rd.

Rolen isn't better than Brooks Robinson or Graig Nettles at this point in his career either.

Whatever you say. It's a shame they weren't good enough to play shortstop. :)
