Good morning, fellow FReeper baseball FANatics...It's been a while since we've all caught up..( and there were a few things going on...college bowl games, the NFL payoffs, and a SCOTUS nominee hearting..Getting close to "pitchers and catchers" reporting...( February 16th) So I thought I'd run a thread to get your take on how your particular team's done in the off season, and also to find out what you think of the upcoming World BaseBall Classic..
Crisp has a lot of upside. His numbers are very similar to Damon's the last two years, he is above average in the outfield and frankly CF is a premium position nowadays. They own him for 4 years. Look, the Yankers had to go 4 years at $13/mil a year for a guy with no arm and the potential to decline. Crisp can hit 15-20 HRs and 40-45 doubles a year for the Sox. Plus, he's younger and this team was certainly showing it's age last year. Maybe he will help keep Manny loose as well.
Well it seems the former co gm's didnt think getting a physical for mota was important. Hopefully theo can fix this. Right now we will be lucky to have Adam Stern in Center come opening day
That Beckett.Mota/Lowell trade was Lucchino's deal. Henry has far too much loyalty to this guy to fire him but no physicals?
Damn
