Just one night after appearing on the season debut of "American Idol," one of the hopeful contestants is in jail, Access Hollywood has learned.
Terrell Brittenum, who belted out "My Girl" for the "Idol" judges on Tuesday's season premiere, is currently in a Memphis, Tennessee jail on a forgery charge, according to documents obtained from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee.

Now the question becomes - did the brothers go to Hollywood? Do we get to watch them in the tryouts, perhaps get picked to move on? You'd think that at some point the producers of American Idol found out about one of the brothers being arrested...
Ordinary people can bring with them extraordinary problems. I hope that singing cowboy from the four person town gets that voice under control - he'd be a good contender if he can.

I hope they weed out all the parolees, ex-cons, and drugdealers this year BEFORE they get to Hollywood.
Also the wifebeaters and welfare cheats.

in jail while his audition is airing on TV--LOL
