I believe the break-even point for a movie is double it's advertising and negative cost. I also notice that there's a heavy advertising campaign for this movie at this time (the ads of course do not even hint about the gay theme of the movie). So, they're probably not break-even yet with ticket sales now at 32 million, a production cost of 14 million and unstated (and growing) advertising costs.

One of the things I've read about and experienced myself is where one goes to the multiplex, buys a ticket for one movie, and then upon looking at the ticket stub, finding it's for another movie, invariably some turkey. I wouldn't be surprised if this tactic is used to juice the ticket sales of this movie.

It cost 14 million and it's already made 32 million. It's probably already profitable.
