I live in Pitts. area and have always been a Steelers fan. I personally think that there was some "fix" in. No one can tell me that that call could stand after replay.

Sure. And I think Cowher paid Vanderjagt to miss the FG by 40 yards. I mean after all, he's never missed quite that bad before, so obviously the "fix" was in and Cowher knows Vanderjagt's price, which is a cheap bottle of vodka.

I don't know about that but the refs did everything they could to keep Indy in the game and they still couldn't finish the job. Vanderjagt choked, plain and simple.

Sarcasm is the protest of the weak.

Those - like me - who suspect media/ratings mania at the NFL's highest levels have every right and reason to suspect fishy goings on.

A kicker missing a field goal is a finite event controlled only by him and occurring during the actual play of the game. Coming up with an inexplicable replay call after looking into a peep show booth and holding a private conversation is not.
