I've cancelled (and rejoined) Netflix twice already. And I currently have my account on hold for the next 90 days. I've not had any problems doing that.
Clear your cache and as long as you don't log in again, Netflix won't recognize you and keep giving you those messages.
(but you prolly knew that)
