Woohooo! Good luck with the job interview, Rosie!
Well, I just got in and as I suspected, the main streets were clear. It was just my driveway! Now there's only a strip of about 4 feet of ice up under where the eave of the house is. So I just drove carefully over that and got the car safely in the garage.
We are IN for the night! :-)

Evenin'. Reporting in from my favoritest place in the whole wide world: at home with my honey. 'Twas a long day. Cooked up more of that Dreamfields pasta. Made a dish of 'grilled' chicken and penne pasta in a parma rosa sauce. Not too bad at all. The pasta is spendy but awfully good. The serving sizes are really generous and only 5 carbs per.
Going to watch AI tonite and work on garden schematics.

We just had an interesting development.
A law-enforcement type (He wasn't sherrif's dept, but rather DNR or Fish and Wildlife, not quite sure which) just knocked on the door over at RosiesNewPlace and was asking for the prior tenant at first... it seems someone dumped a bunch of garbage and carpet (21 truck loads I'm guessing) on one of their access roads and among the trash was that address with the name of the old tenant.
Unknown whether the landlord was complicit in the illegal dumping or whether the handyguy ripped him off on dump fees. It all depends I guess on how much he paid the guy to get rid of all that crap they hauled last week.
If he'd have gone along with the original deal, we'd have done it right. It might have taken longer, but I imagine what happens next will be a big pain for the landlord.
