I think these days most dogs have been raised around cats, and fear them, because while dogs are taught to be nice, cats aren't... ;~D

So while there's always a tendency for a dog to chase anything new that runs, usually if you control the environment at first, they get over those initial reflexes.

Heh...yeah, I don't think my cats would hesitate to swat a dog that tried anything.

I suppose just doing gentle, supervised introductions and being around while they got to know one another would probably be enough, huh?

Phone interview done. I *think* it went OK, but it's always hard to tell.

In any case, apparently he's going to make a decision based on these interviews - no face to face. A little weird, but it makes life easier. So there's that.

Should hear back by early next week.
