You can stay here until we've got the kitchen/living/bath/bedroom fixed up, you can shower here and laundry here till the other bathroom gets fixed and we can find you a washer and dryer at a garage sale.
Morning teleconference: "Maybe we should telecon this afternoon and decide xyz..." "Sounds good!"
Afternoon teleconference: "Alright, maybe we should get a small group together to decide xyz." "Ok."
Afternoon teleconference #2: "Alright, maybe Joe Schmoe and I can discuss this and call you back."
Me: "No! Let's decide it right now! Now! Now! Now! Lets do xyz!"
Them: "Ok, lets do xyz. I'm gonna call those other guys and tell them. Wonder if I can get them all back for a teleconference."
Seriesly. I didn't even exaggerate.
I suppose worst case scenario is that I end up with a lot of the furnishings I'll need anyway, even if I don't stay there.
And just looking at other rental listings, I doubt I'll find anything at all close to that price range where I'd still get some land. That is a big bonus. Whether it's enough to outweigh what are some pretty major minuses remains to be seen. A lot will depend on how the landlord reacts to all this.
