Well, now I'm a very simple cook and it's a good thing that my family seems to have very simple tastes! I buy a shaker of "Italian seasoning"...that's what it's called...and says it's ingredients are Spices (including Thyme and Oregano). I use a half a tablespoon of that, a half a teaspoon of onion powder and a teaspoon of garlic powder per 15 ounce can of tomato sauce. (We all really like garlic.) That's it. I warm it up on the stove top and sometimes just in the microwave. Pour it on noodles, meatball sandwiches, shells stuffed with ricotta, frozen tortellini.

Simple is good!
That's about what I do...was just curious! Sometimes I also add a touch of cayenne and some rosemary.
