Yeah, that's what I was thinkin' for a first stop. That's *if* I do the trip in three days, though. It's a good stopping point if I use that plan.
AAA does gas milage estimates, too. I like that. And I think a lot of hotels will give a slight discount for members. I don't think Motel 6 does, but they couldn't really discount much more'n they already do. ;-)
There's another Super 8 on the Idaho/Oregon border too, if you do the 3 day version.
I have Verizon and it's just great as long as you aren't actually ~in~ a building. :-D
Evening - we have traveled with our cats quite a bit; two cats - two carriers, long as they faced each other, the old one was content. Later trips, we left the carriers open, they would look around awhile, use the litter box, but mostly stayed in 'their space' the carriers. Years back we traveled with one, he had the run of the car and only misbehaved once.
