In the last 24 hours, we've gotten 3.7 inches of rain, which is a LOT for here in a short period of time. I've got standing water where we've never had it before. I let the horses out just now to explore their new lake in the pasture.

Bay ended up on the wrong side of the fence in the back forty... so the mares explored it first.

Pony went right in...

I really thought Cyn was gonna roll, she got all rubbery in the knees and I was ready to capture the spectacle, but she thought better of it I guess and never did.

When I finally went and got Bay, he just skirted around the edge... the wimp.

Anyway - fun with big mud puddles...

HUGH mud puddle - eek!

Glad all the rain is at least a source of amusement to some. ;-)

I'd like to see some of the streams and rivers in the area - they've gotta be going great guns!
