Well... the tail light out did turn out to be just a fuse. Went to ~town~ and got some.
Not sure why a fuse would blow so soon, other than maybe it was a weak fuse to begin with. Ran everything electrical I could think of and it didn't blow again.
So there's that. :-)
Stopped in ~very~ briefly at the Sunset. Deadsville in there. A few of the regulars, but nobody else. Saturday afternoons used to be pretty busy. Sad.
We gave away two to relatives of Hobbit Hole folks in the service. Now I've been able to score five more of another model. These will go into our "unadvertised specials" box, for giving when the regular knife just isn't grand enough.
As you can see, this model is a big, honlin' folding knife, and is even larger than our Camillus 904, which ain't exactly tiny. Here's a better picture of the markings.
An interesting feature is that the pocket clip can be relocated to either end, on either side of the knife, thus allowing it to be carried in a number of different ways. It's also beefy enough that it can perform some of the heavy-duty tasks normally done by our Camillus BK2. The "wings" on the blade provide a bit of protection as handguards.
We only have five of these, but if you know someone special who has earned one, drop me a line.
