Some companies frown on nightly deposits for fear of robbery.

They stagger deposit days around to keep would-be thieves guessing.

I don't know if your Jeep dealer has any such qualms, but it's pretty common practice here.

Heck, even my homeowners' association hangs on to my lousy check and it doesn't clear for 10 days! $120.00, fercryingoutloud! *rolls eyes*

Dunno... but this is Bellevue... the robbers all drive beemers and make reservations for the robbery in advance. And they demand a cashier's check instead of cash. Too risky, you know...

:-)

There'd be very little cash in a car dealership deposit. Probly almost all checks. Not much risk there.
