And there are many paths to tread

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,

Just watched about the first half a movie called
Downfall (English title, German film, subtitles) about the last couple of weeks in Hitler's bunker. A lot of it I knew, some of it was new.
A lot of the imagery replicated, alost re-enacted film and still photos of the era.
If the subject interests you, this film may as well.
