Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I'd send you all some warmth if I could.
And I was thinking (as I sat out there earlier) that this will probably be the last time I will wear shorts outside in February. *laughing*

Heh...I'm lazy. No walk this morniing.
Just watched Sherlock Holmes Face Death. Now I suppose I should plant some stuff before racing starts. The local chanel isn't showing the Wake game (big surprise...not!) so I'll just catch the archived audio broadcast at some later date.
Miss Cat is snoozing away....

Outdoor hot tubs are really neat when it is crisp and cold and snowing outside.

No wonder all of the vacation rentals in Colorado boasted about their outdoor hot tubs! I figured you'd use them 3-5 months out of the whole year, not year-round.
You gonna show me what's so ~neat~ about the experience? ;-)

Big Race Day - Good Luck to your team/driver/car etc. Could be a relatively quiet day, hope so.
To: RMDupree
heh, well it's up to 12 here and positive degreed wind chill, so there's that.

They're likely gazing at their respective navels this morning in a group exercise... They won't need a chaperone ;~D

I suppose I could listen to the game and watch the race, but I wanted to listen to the in-car radio.

Tryin' too... It's freezing! 14 degrees... 14 is not a large number when speaking of degrees, really.
