CRKT made a series of four knives with special markings for sale in PXs in Iraq. The knives themselves are still in their product line, but the ones with the special markings are no longer produced.

We gave away two to relatives of Hobbit Hole folks in the service. Now I've been able to score five more of another model. These will go into our "unadvertised specials" box, for giving when the regular knife just isn't grand enough.

As you can see, this model is a big, honlin' folding knife, and is even larger than our Camillus 904, which ain't exactly tiny. Here's a better picture of the markings.

An interesting feature is that the pocket clip can be relocated to either end, on either side of the knife, thus allowing it to be carried in a number of different ways. It's also beefy enough that it can perform some of the heavy-duty tasks normally done by our Camillus BK2. The "wings" on the blade provide a bit of protection as handguards.

We only have five of these, but if you know someone special who has earned one, drop me a line.

Isn't it though? I have no idea how such a pro-life movie made it past the Hollyweird Agenda Censors.

They probably just didn't notice the message among all the car, truck, helicopter, and 'wasp' chases!

Good Morning All - looks like a beeeutiful day here. Gypsygirl enjoyed her walk, of course, so did we. We're on track for the warmest January on record. Yesssss. Still, we could use some rain, during the weeks ahead.

Morning!

Got more daffodils breaking ground. The warm temps sure help out with the heating bill!

Hmmmm....what to do....

Think I'll start some seeds today.

I've got pretty much everything I need for my trip.

Still got 2 or 3 little things to buy, but I'll do that later.

Paying bills now. :-/
