to the most serious difference being the odoriferous quality.. but with respect to relevance it is all in appearance.
Well..... That was interesting. Bittygirl just put on her shoes, all by herself, upside down and backwards, without socks.
but that's exactly what the curry looks like before you add things to it.
That's a bad dog!
This recipe looks yummy... from muggle.net
Madam Rosemerta's magical recipes.
Butterbeer! It warms you up AND tastes great. Now in take-away form from The Three Broomsticks. (Many thanks to Melissa for this recipe!)
Ingredients:
* 1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
* ½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
* ½ tablespoon butter
Directions:
Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.
Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.
Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!
Looks exactly like Jessi the Dain-Bramaged Lab. :-D
If I could, I'd bring her up with me and leave her with you for ~training~. hehehehe...
Heading home now. See ya later!
Back from the interview. Man that was awkward and awful. My tongue and brain weren't working together at *all*. I musta said "it's kinda hard to put that into words..." and "you know?" a coupla dozen times. Ugh.
Good thing it doesn't matter!
Heh...I don't think I'd wanna work for anyone who would hire me after *that* interview.
Heh...I got slapped the other week, too. Last sale. I'd always buy the big package and then repackage everything, which was a pretty big hassle, but they didn't have any big packages out. I was mourning this when Jen pointed out I could get it from the counter, and if I did that, they'd wrap stuff in whatever amounts I wanted. Duh!
Interesting!
I've been wanting to try to make ginger beer since reading about Polly in "The Magician's Nephew" drinking it in the attic crawl space!
Ha! I wish someone had told me when I was your age!
I took a nap.
When do you go for your interview?
I'm just waiting for the lady to call again about picking up these bookcases. And trying to decide if I should care in the least that the interview didn't go well. I guess not. I got a whole world ahead of me, right?
It was just weird, though. Lots of questions I've answered a zillion times, and my mind went totally blank. Grrr.
Read the post above that one.
Heh! Gotcha.
I'm fixin' to log off...Steve is coming home right after work...I'd like to get the house picked up before he gets home.
Oh, and I wouldn't worry about the interview, other than to chalk it up to experience.
*shrug*
I dunno. Of course, knowing that I'm not really wanting to stick around, it didn't help that the very first question was one on why I wanted to work there.
But I don't think I've *ever* stammered and stuttered and "I'm not sure"ed as much as I did today. It was awful.
Didn't you say "because I need a paycheck"? :)
