[beyond the sea]

I remember a snowy, blustery day at Forbes Field in the late 50's when John Henry Johnson ran like a crazy man in the muck. I think there were a few seats unsold that day. ;-)

The scraggly guy "sitting" beside us in those cramped seats way up behind the Pirate dugout was so drunk, my older brother periodically grabbed his pint bottle (paper bag and all) from his jacket and took a couple of swigs.
