I read last nights AI thread this morning. I cannot believe that anyone did not know of Manilow's gayness. It never registered with me, yet I knew that he was Bette Midlers pianist a long time ago. Maybe he's not??

A while back a local radio show did a call in segment where listeners would relate stories about celebrities they knew. This guy calls in a goes into great detail about how he was picked from the Manilow concert audience to go back stage and meet Barry. The fellow went into much detail about their brokeback encounter.
That prompted many more callers relating their own Barry is gay stories.
