I think Def Jam is the record company thats singers are mostly the hip hop or rap....some of them the "bad boyz"....so I am sure the fact that they have been in jail..
not only didn't hurt them...but, probably helped.
I would think though, that they wouldn't be able to stay with AI if they signed with a label....so they should just stick with the "bird in hand".
