I thought this would be relevant with consideration to the end of today's game.
The phrase "idiot kicker" will be heard everywhere ... here's a reference for anyone who's unaware.

46 yards in a home field dome, playoff game on the line? That was no $7.75 million worth!
After that horrible interception reversing call, I was glad to see the Steelers pull through. I hope Big Ben's not damaged, though.

At the end it looked like a contest between dueling playoff choke artists..Cowher vs Manning. It would have been fitting for the game to go to overtime.

Vanderjagt may be an "idiot kicker," but how do you explain the clock management and playcalling on the part of Tony Dungee and Peyton Manning in the last 2.5 minutes of this game?
The Colts should have run the ball at 3rd and 2. Any moron could have said that. Instead, they run a pass play and damn near get Manning sacked....again.
Pitiful.

Maybe Pat Robertson will tell us that God was punishing Mike Vaderjagt for his early comments, or, for committing adultery during the halftime highlights, or something like that.
