Chimney Rock and Lake Lure, NC. About 30 minutes from me. Beautiful area around the lake. Some of the stores in Chimney Rock have pics taken during the filming, and posted in the windows. Quiet little weekend getaway spot. (You are talking about Last of the Mohican's, right?)
