Eighteen+ years have now passed, and bird flu is now an even bigger world problem. One person saw my comment at a thread today about bird flu in cats, and informs me the Basra marshes have been largely rewatered. I remember when you told us that the drying up of the marshes had revealed an apparent one mile diameter meteor Crater, about 4,000 years old. This may explain a lot about changing of powers around the time of Abraham in the Middle East.
At any rate, I know Environmentalism is not the most popular topic or issue at FR. If failure to maintain or restore habitats is causing a worldwide bird flu pandemic, even if so far it has not become the new human pandemic that Covid was, then now is the time to care.
