I got my start in small town radio, and I mean small town radio. There, the DJ's could play whatever they wanted, without conforming to a list made weeks in advance.
Ann Wilson has one of the best voices ever.
At the height of my radio career, Milli Vanilli (gag!!) was at their peak before being outted as a couple of guys who never sung their own songs in studio or live on stage. LOL!
Yeah, I remember Milli Vanilli. My cousin (the same one w/the Starship poster I mentioned earlier) was a major Milli Vanilli fan.
Do they have the "House of Hair" with Dee Snider in your area on Saturday nights?
I dunno, Mike...GNR, Scorps, Queensryche's music all say "I am kicking @ss", while Staind's tends to say "I am getting my @ss kicked".

I listen to House of Hair online, haven't been able to find it on any radio stations here. Maybe if I still lived in Ohio, I could get it.
It's ironic, cause another VH1 show, the 40 most awesomely BAD songs, included Journey's "Separate Ways."
Unfortunately no. But I do listen to his show on an online station. That particular station also has Alice Cooper's nightly show as well.
I agree, except for the ONE song up there....
Like the *Flying Burrito Brothers* version better. But the Stones and Mick were great in their day. I would never waste my money seeing them in concert these days. Though I would see Van Morrison, Neil Young, Dylan, Eric Clapton especially Cream
There are great concert bootlegs of the Stones during the Mick Taylor years
....For me it's "I Want to know what Love is" and "Waiting for a Girl like you" by Foreigner, of course that was in the late 70's early 80's!

Having said all that I was quoting another poster when I mentioned Wild Horses, not giving my own opinion.
Wild Horses was written when Gram Parsons was hanging out with the stones in the south of France. There is an undeniable Parson's influence on the song. I think Parsons made some statements that the song was written for him (not about him but for him).
Having said all that I'm not sure I'd take the FBB's version over the Stones'. I guess it's a taste thing but I do like the Stones version better.

The Stones rented a mansion and pursued music, sex and debauchery. They were there for tax avoidance reasons. Graham hung with Keith there. As far as I know he is on no official Stones records though the just as rootsy (and less stoned) Ry Cooder was, mostly on slide
