That sounds like a deal. The mail carrier here is building his own home...almost 5000 sq. ft. He says he'll have "about $250,000 in sweat equity" in it. It's on eight acres, so I guess he can do what he wants. He paid $85,000 for the land a year ago, and property next to him is selling for $120,000. Same size.
