One thing on this show that bothers me and it makes me <tinfoil>wonder</tinfoil> if it's the PC Hollywood police:
I have only watched this seasons premier and 4 episodes from Day 4 (reruns: saw them today) and the only times they used a "convincing"
method of extracting information from someone, they always used it on an innocent (mistaken) person.
Does anyone else notice this? ie the taser on the girl in CTU and also Jack using a lamp cord on Paul.
At the beginning of last season Jack shot a suspect in the thigh to encourage the flow of information. It worked.
SKS is just as I bought it, stock is supposedly East German.
I guess you didn't see the episode when Jack shot someones kneecap......that got the guy talking...
Oh no. There are plenty of times the torture is well worth the effort..:) I think Paul and the girl were the only times the people were innocent.
