It's in the script. :)

what did you think of the scene from last season, after the bad guys hijack the missile from the convoy going through Iowa, and the President asks, "weren't you tracking them on radar?" and his handler answers, "they were going through mountainous terrain."

WTF!!! Mountainous terrain in Iowa?

>>>WTF!!! Mountainous terrain in Iowa?<<<

There are some mighty high bluffs along the Mississippi River... :)

One of those Hollywood "oopsies"...like one I caught on a recent show where it mentioned a character having grown up in Wisconsin on a farm a few miles East of Sheboygan. Only thing wrong with that is immediately East of Sheboygan is Lake Michigan.

Yah, that was a hoot.

Well, wth, all the screenwriters live in blue states, pubbie school grads w/absolutely zero, or very close to zero, knowledge of practical geography.

The writers blow and blow off other inarguable facts in the name of entertainment, too, and I've mixed views on this.

Isn't the purpose of video (TV/film) entertainment to tell a story that keeps one coming back for more? I think so; some soap operas have been running for 30 years and more, correct? (sorry, last soap opera I watched was named ''Hill Street Blues''; I'm unquestionably out of date here...if such a thing is possible).

Imagine this: 'Dad, I told you I didn't go down to Lauderdale for spring break. I was in the Iowa (or Kansas, or Nebraska) Mountains those two weeks'.
