They said in S1 that Palmer was a Dem. That makes the Prez a Repub. I'm still uneasy. I hope the plot changes........but in an interview, Sutherland said "there are traitors in every Administration".
I did read that Carlos Bernard (Tony Almeida) asked the producers to keep him alive for a couple extra episodes. Maybe this was a simular request.
Other than Jack, he is the last character still alive to be in all five seasons.
I think Bones is a better vehicle for Boreanaz than Angel was. There's excellent chemistry between the Fed and the Doc. :)

At 7:00 A.M. David Palmer's body is going to be loaded onto the plane for transport home.
This is where I suspect we'll see the silent clock for him.
I think I've figured it out...
Henderson is actually a secret DoD cyborg and is programmed to follow four prime directives:
1. Serve the President
2. Kill all witnesses
3. Do not yield to law enforcement
4. Classified
The fourth directive, which he is programmed to be unaware of unless it becomes relevant, renders him physically incapable of killing the President ('Any attempt to kill the President results in shutdown').
In remorse for sucker punching him, SecDef Heller reveals that Henderson is a cyborg and sends technical data about Henderson to Bauer's screen.
Bauer lures Henderson onto the Presidential compound. Bauer takes the President hostage and tries to get Henderson to shoot him. The President, not knowing about Directive 4, orders Henderson to kill Bauer.
Henderson aims at Bauer, but Directive 4 kicks in because the President is in sight. Henderson falls to ground limp and his batteries explode.
Bauer then proceeds to beat President Logan to within an inch of his life. Martha, fresh off her rendezvous in the stables with Aaron, removes Logan's ##&*#& and feeds it to their cat.
Bauer reunites with Chloe and they profess their undying love for each other. They marry and rebuild CTU with Jack Bauer clones.

I know what he is talking about, but I am clueless as to who the guy is, so it isn't a spoiler to me.
Yeah, I am such a newbie that I probably miss quite a bit. I bought Season 1 at Target and one of these days am going to try and catch up. When previous seasons are discussed here, I try to skip over those posts, so I will be at least a LITTLE surprised.
If these characters are from seasons past, I am whistling in the wind.
