Yeah, I agree. They should have just written them out at the end of Season 4 and let them live a happy life. Of course we all know the only way to get off 24 is to die.
The original ending for Season 4 was Michelle taking a suicide pill (introduced in Season 3) after Tony went BOOM.
They decided to change it and kill them both @ the start of Season 5 but Carlos Bernard came up with the idea for Henderson to kill Tony.
I really liked Reiko Aylesworth and Carlos Bernard. They worked together very well. However, the writers said "we've run out of stories for them" so just like poor Edgar and Palmer, they became cannon fodder.
Besides, Reiko Aylesworth is just too dang cute.

I'm kinda running out of things to do. I'm working on a Jack Sig and a Tony Sig but finding the right pictures has been harder than finding ones with Michelle/Reiko and Chloe/Mary Lynn.
Seems like the ones I've been asked for the most are Chloe & Michelle.

I don't remember exactly where but one of the producers said that the Chinese weren't going to make an appearance this season since they couldn't think of a way to bring them in that didn't sound corny.

I've heard that same suggestion but it just doesn't fit.
My personal bet is Secretary of Defense Heller.
And no, that isn't based on any information I've heard except the fact that he is supposed to be back sometime this season.
For a real curve ball, I just thought of something. Everyone expects Jack to die in the last episode.
Instead, whenever Kiefer plans to leave the show, either this season or next, instead of killing Jack, him and Audrey simply go off together to escape all of the baggage of their former lives.

I don't think Mrs. Logan fits either. For one thing, why would get get into the limosine with the Russian leader and his wife? I was only being half-serious.
I still don't trust Audrey. I haven't trusted her from the beginning of last season. And maybe the apple doesn't fall too far away from the tree, either. But I liked Heller from last season, so I hope it isn't him. :)
