a lot of the boundaries he was restricted by - by virtue of who he was working for - simply don't exist now. This is a guy who walks into CTU, shoots a guy, and requests a hacksaw so he can take the head with him.
I didn't realize Jack was a guy who felt he had a lot of restrictive boundaries before ;~D
