I'm not so sure Bode is a genuine hippy. I think he's enjoying the limelight and is more a rebel than anything else. He may say he does not care if he wins or not, but that's probably said more for his image than anything else.

He's raking in millions from sponsors and the 60 minutes interview paid off for them tenfold as he sat before the camera in his Nike logo pullover. For a sports gear sponsor, it doesn't get any better than that.

And, he is a very likable guy having fun and making millions. I like that.
