Yeah, making almost 1/3 of its budget back in one week's gross? That's some probably financial loser.
It's already made back more than it's budget, and will probably soon be in profit, depending on the theaters' cut, which is probably less than 30% of the take.
Where does one find the budget?
I'll bet you it's got to gross $30 million to make any money; partciularly if they're advertising it heavily. But what do I know about the movie business? Nothing.
Theater's take is typically 45% of the cut. And then there's printing and marketing. But according to some basic rules of thumb, it is rapidly approaching profitability, presuming equally strong DVD and foreign grosses.

For this movie to achieve its objective, it's going to have to do a lot more than make its money back.
