I am just as amazed when my nurses at work quote these stories as being absolutely true. My third shift nurse was trying to tell me that her nephew had been overdosed with heroine from a needle being left in a "ball pit" at hardees!!! One of my PRN nurses tried telling me that her boyfriend was dying from chicken pox...she had gotten a forward that said chickenpox is deadly to an adult!!

Whenever I receive a suspicious forward, I go to "snopes.com" get the truth on the matter and send it back to whoever sent me the junk in the first place. Man, has that pissed some people off...they hate to be proven wrong.
