DEAR AMY: Hey, kid. I have some intelligence for you regarding the important issue of VPL [touched off by a letter from a single father who was upset because his teenage daughter had taken to wearing thong underwear]. Men have spoken up volubly, and in statistically significant numbers, as have women. The subject of Visible Panty Lines is a recurring theme in my weekly online chat with readers nationwide. I have expressed my personal belief that men like VPL. This raises an intriguing paradox: The Panty Paradox. I put this to a specific test. In a poll accompanying my online chat, I asked men and women (separately) as to whether VPL (on the right person - an important qualifier!) are a "good" thing or a "bad" thing. Results were as I had postulated: Men approve of them by 2-1.

I understand that but....pantie lines? ;o(
How about what you've posted before
Nice shapely legs with some great heels and
hair blowing with a nice but lite perfume smell
coming from her?
We have a lot of this in Milwaukee during summer.
I'm with you...
After hearing for the last 4 weeks about Elton John's wedding and gay cowboys, I agree.
You do?
Me too :) I love how they black out the women's eyes.
Not where I grew up.

Yeah,
like blacking out her eyes would disguise her purple faux fur coat and shag carpet boots from those who knew her.
Throw in a garter belt and stockings, and I'm on board.
Panty lines go back to the days when good girls always wore proper foundation garments. Panty lines are considered white trash.
If you were over 15, you never left the house without a girdle.
You ALWAYS wore a slip under a skirt or dress.
Pants were only worn casually and with pant liners. :0
The top of the thong, where it extends above the beltline of low-cut pants.
What's sad is after the holidays, my granny-panties are now thongs. Sigh...
Yuk! Now that is an absolutely gross sight! Is that Monica or even grosser, Janet Reno??
I stopped by for some pics..............
This is NOT what I had in mind.
I vote against. I dread having panty lines - usually means I need to hit the treadmill again or buy new pants. Nothing sexy about that. I never realized men found VPLs so sexy. I can see men getting excited about whale tails, but VPLs just look sloppy.
