Any good communities around Glacier that meet my specs? Thanks.

Stay west and southwest of Glacier. It be Injun country east of the park. Kalispel (sp?) just east and south of West Glacier is nice. Be sure to check-out the Flat Head Lake area just south, maybe an hour and a half drive south of West Glacier. If you like cherries the Flat Head Lake area is a major growing area and the crop comes in around the end of July. Went thru that area a couple of years ago after camping for a week or so in Glacier and headed down to Yellowstone. Really liked what I saw. It holds possibilities for me.

Kalispell (near glacier) is a nice but growing city

there are smaller cities around, some nice, some with more poverty as there is some unemployment in that area

Huge Indian reservation to the east of Glacier and unfortuntely there is much poverty on the reservations
