Klutz:

Need some help from you. I'm trying to give my friends a sig image, the problem is I can't get just the user name and team number to display.

I see they have several examples on the eoc site, but I need the user number in order for it to work, and I don't find the user number anywhere.

I want it to look lke this one...

...and this is the code I'm using...

Am I going about it the wrong way, or is there a secret user number page somewhere?

:O)

I need the user number in order for it to work, and I don't find the user number anywhere.

It's buried in the log files - look for points in the log where the FaH restarted. Here's what mine looks like:

--- Opening Log file [January 1 18:38:08]

# Windows Console Edition
#####################################################
###############################################################################

Folding@Home Client Version 5.02

http://folding.stanford.edu

###############################################################################
###############################################################################

Launch directory: C:\Program Files\FaH
Service: C:\Program Files\FaH\FAH502-Console.exe
Arguments: -svcstart

Launched as a service.
Entered C:\Program Files\FaH to do work.

[18:38:08] - Ask before connecting: No
[18:38:08] - User name: Senator_Bedfellow (Team 36120)
[18:38:08] - User ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
[18:38:08] - Machine ID: 2

The user ID appears to be a 16 digit hex number - see if you can plug that in and make it go.

The ID number didn't work for me, but I found a different format using the username & team that does:

The above is my username, if you didn't guess, substitute as needed. The bg=1 is the background - I tried 1 & 2, there may be more for different skins
