Got that right. This is an apt description of many College Athletes who are essentially recruited to satisfy the ever growing demands of Collegiate Athletics over Collegiate Scholarship. Most never graduate and are just an injury or a misstep away from the streets, having only one thing they can do well and no education to show for their college experience.

Even Broncos coach Mike Shanahan gave him a chance and he threw that down the drain. Denver has a unique rotating running back system in which ALL running backs get a chance to carry the ball. Had Clarett been patient, he would have had the chance to prove himself - maybe he wouldn't have been a starting RB on the Bronco team but he could have done the special teams thing and maybe gotten some looks from other teams who were hurting at RB.
