This dead man was my neighbor, and in fact lived in my old apartment.
What Amy Mason failed to tell the police is that Larry's apartment was
absolutely packed full of stuff, old computers, books, unopened CDs
just about anything you could think of. And right smack dab in the
middle of his living room was a huge TV antenna like the kind people
had on their roofs in the old days.
Also contained in his apartment at the time of his disappearance were
six or seven pages written in big letters with a Sharpie.
These notes were paranoid delusions of being chased by the FBI and running in the woods to get away.
One evening about 2am Larry came walking up the driveway all dirty and disheveled.
Clearly Larry had issues or perhaps the FBI really was after him.
By all accounts Larry was very intelligent and had been some king of engineer in the military.
His storage unit as well as his apartment were full of some expensive scopes and meters.
The detective in charge of the case was very interested with all the info I gave him
this morning. This is a huge case in this area, the biggest thing the police deal with
around here is someone stealing money from their grandmother to buy drugs.
I've never known someone whose skeleton was found in the woods before.
It's kind of an eerie feeling.
