Merry Christmas can't be said for it might offend someone. However, promotion of gay trash isn't supposed to offend anyone.

Sorry, there isn't an ad budget big enough to make "When Heath Met Jake" something I want to see.

It is, after all, Turner BS.

You have to consider the source.

I'm surprised, when I watched A Christmas Story last night the only movie I saw advertised was the Little Red Riding Hood cartoon that is coming out. I would have thought that they would have advertised during the entire 24 hours of A Christmas Story.

I also had the unfortunate experience of catching the first few seconds of the homosexual movie ad as I was watching A Christmas Story with my two young children. I immediately clicked over to the parental feature on my cable box and added TBS to the blocked list to keep company with MTV and Bravo. I have also fired off a protest email to TBS.

You can bet that some activist, in-your-face homosexual in the TBS sales group sold the ad placement during a family movie on purpose. It's just another way of recruiting future homosexuals to them.

What about the gay conspiracy to invade Christmas carols?
(sorry...I'm joking here...:) )

"Don we now our gay apparel"--Deck the Halls

"...and gay happy meetings"-- It's the Most Wonderful
Time of the Year

And:
Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay.

Then there's Sleigh Ride:
"We're gliding along with a song
of a wintry fairy land"

Must be San Francisco.

And in other songs:
Sam Cooke, "Twistin' the Night Away":
"...where the people are so gay..."

And that foul, foul line from the Flintstones theme...

Interesting,

I had "A Christmas Story" on almost all day. I don't recall seeing any ads for this movie.

I'm not doubting you.

Maybe some people are just more "sensitive" to certain subject matter than most................

I have a problem with this movie's advertising and reviews. It isn't up front with the audience.

It is not mentioned that these two 'cowboys' are actually sheep-herders. To people in the know, there is a great difference especially in the 'mythos' the film makers are trying to 'cash in' on with gay contraversy. **I feel the Mel Brooks might have been more appropriate to do a film about two gay sheepherders in the mountains!

Also the two men are already married with children to women before getting involved. So there is an real element of family breaking-up here.

All these facts as compared to the simplistic way this film is being marketed to the audience is somewhat false & hypocritical. Hypocrisy sucks!
I don't patronize such phony message films.
