Finally I did, it was tough cause he kelp knocking me unconscious by draining my fatigue. I liked one aspect of the exchange, Vivec gave me an "unusual unknown item" worth one gold piece. But it turn out this item was another Wairthsomething glove (which I already had), but what the heck, it was worth a fortune so I went thru the motions and got it back in working order, but surprise surprise, it fits the other hand.. Now this tickled me since I had another glove I had to give up that upped my strength 20 points but I could not wear both it and the Wairthglove at the same time.
Also I now see what you mean about the stuff that holds alot of magic power (the reason you didn't care for the new metal armor). I have one of those "diedric" (spell) 80,000 gold long swords I enchanted that kicks butt especially with the extra 10 shock with each blow.
I don't know what to do with the 1000 magic soul of Vivec. Basically any constant item I make will work just as good with a 400 soul. About 120 is the top magic item I can find to enchant (rings and some amulets only). So the 1000 is overkill unless I can find an weapon that has above 100 enchantment capacity.
I moved on to the Tribunal expansion and all the guards will question me on killing Vivec... I just ignore them.
I can't quite figure the layout on the Tribunal yet. I figure it maps just on top of the old Morrowind world. Cut my levitation out in areas too. I at least I killed them durn assassin's (spell) leader so they don't keep trying to take my life every time I take a nap.
I need to get a good walk through for this game now. The old official guide I had ended with the main Morrowind game and I am not buying another book when everything is online now days.
If Tribunal is the expansion pack I remember, it's basically one big city with an extensive network of sewers and dungeons underneath it. I didn't play that one all the way through.
