I just saw Narnia this afternoon and it was a delight.
Much better than Harry Potter. Harry Potter felt like I was dropped into the middle of a movie, and then forced out of it before it was over. (No beginning, no end -- just a middle of a movie.)
I don't know of anybody who has any intention of seeing Bareback Mountain.
I'll wait for Kong on DVD. The comparissons to Titanic drove me away.

I also had the same feeling when I watched HP. There are too many side stories, and the main story was not well developed compared to the earlier movies.
Narnia, on the other hand, despite being a kid movie, was really entertaining.
