Dungy Ping and Prayers
Put Shottenheimer on "change" list - Only he can lose with this team.
Norv Turner.
Dennis Green is safe. This is only year 2 I believe, the Cardinals have been losers for so long they are used to it.
Is Dick Vermeil done?
How about Mike Martz?
Oakland - Norv Turner - DONE.
Hoston - Dom Capers - DONE. I believe Dan Reeves will recommend himself for the job and be hired as their next head coach. Wade Phillips, DC at SD, may come over and be the DC/assist HC at Houston, with the understanding that he will take over as HC in 2-3 years.
Minnesota - Mike Tice - DONE. The Vikings will miss the playoffs, and I believe the new owner will clean house, starting with his head coach. He will also dump Culpepper as his QB due to his "Lust Boat" connection, along with some other Vikings. Where does Daunte go? I believe he gets traded to Arizona to reunite with Dennis Green, who WILL stay there and not be fired.
Vikings new coach - Mike Martz. The Rams don't want him, but he'll be a perfect fit for Minnesota. Dome team, talented skill players, etc. Martz can start a new "greatest show on turf". All he'll need is a QB, since Daunte will be gone to Arizona. Well, if Daunte is in Arizona, the Cardinals won't need Kurt Warner. See where this is headed? Yes, Martz brings his offense, led by Kurt Warner to Minnesota.
Steve Mariucci, formerly of Detroit, will be hired at Michigan State after they fire their current coach, who is an A-1 nut job. The guy is loony. Trust me on this.
The Lions are a mess. They need new blood from Matt Millen on down. Total house cleaning coming up.
If K.C. makes the playoffs, Vermeil will stay another year. If they don't, he won't. If he leaves, Herm Edwards comes over from the Jets; otherwise, Herm stays in NY.
Haslett in New Orleans is gone. It's going to be hard to get anybody with a pulse to take over that job. Another vagabond year coming up and starting over at the QB position.
Billick will be given ONE more year in Baltimore.
Sherman will be given ONE more year in Green Bay.
Today I heard the on air personalities on Dallas sports radio (1310 AM) complaining about Parcells, and wondering if he would be around after this season. Just four weeks ago the Cowboys looked good, and now they are having to fend off a complete collapse. The playoffs are iffy. Ugh!
