Now, if we can just get Ann Coulter to the Whole Hog Cafe, she would be the little extra inspiration needed for some who are just not quite motivated enough to get out there and make some noise. Kenny, you're our cutest guy FReeper. How about sending her a personal invitation.
Group lobbies for Alito confirmation

Residents in the Twin Lakes Area may play a role in nominating Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court.
Action Committee spokesman Gabe Allen asked a group of approximately 20 area residents to call Sen. Mark Pryor and Sen. Blanche Lincoln and encourage them to vote to confirm Alito during a meeting at Mountain Home City Hall Friday.
Neither Pryor nor Lincoln has announced how they will vote.
Action Committee is a Little Rock-based political action committee which lobbies for conservative political issues, Allen said.
Mountain Home was the last stop on a 10-day, 36-city tour of the state in which Allen attempted to drum up support for Alito's nomination.
One of the goals of Action Committee is overturning the Supreme Court 1973 decision Roe v. Wade, according to Action Committee President Jerry Cox.
"We're not sure how Alito will vote on Roe v. Wade, but he will not legislate from the bench," Allen said.
State Sen. Shawn Womack (R-Dist. 1) and State Rep. Johnny Key (R-Dist. 81) did not speak at the event, but both were in attendance.
Allen said he thinks Lincoln and Pryor have received hundreds of calls since the tour began.
He said his committee has received indications from Pryor's office that he's leaning toward confirming Alito.
The committee has received no information as to how Lincoln will vote, he said.
Despite the low turnout, Allen said the Mountain Home crowd is one the largest he spoke to on the tour. Before arriving in the city, he spoke in front of approximately 70 people in Harrison.
"The point of the tour was not to speak to large numbers of people," Allen said.
"It was to get our message out through the media."
If Pryor or Lincoln vote to confirm Alito, citizens should be compelled to call them and tell them how much the vote is appreciated, Allen said.
Action Committee is a subdivision of Family Council, a political action committee which deals with education issues within the state.
