Well I also simultaneously went socks=feet, cheese=Limburger, and cross referenced to the fact that Limburger cheese owes its 'special' uhhh, charm to the fungus that ferments the curd.
A fungus that originally came from the feet of the medieval Limburgesie monks who stomped the curd into mold frames.
But I thought that was too hard to explain, so I didn't mention it...
