Okay, I probably should have my head examined. I am considering adopting a kid...or 2. While I don't think a single parent family is the ideal situation for any kid, I certainly think it is preferable to the all too real probability that many of these kids will end up with no families at all. Everybody wants the cute little babies and toddlers, and who can blame them? But very few people want or are willing to take kids that come with a lot of baggage. For whatever their issues, many of these kids desperately want families. And Dawn always did want a sister.
