It is because they believe what they are saying and rooting for our ememies to win...
When these people the "Progressive Left" are in office they hear no evil, see now evil, speak no evil as it weaves a web over the US!
To me the "Progressive Left!" are the sponsors and authors of Al Queda Terrorism

But since the lame stream media parrots their line, they get the morale boost of hearing only their side told.
