I'm astonished at how many threads there are about this non-event. It's a small, independent movie. It's a story. Why do we care?
Personally, between the homosexuals and the gangsters, I'd rather lose the gangsters. Should we protest every Martin Scorcese movie? I hate serial murderers, too - should we protest Jonathan Demme? I hate birds who peck out the eyes of schoolteachers - Darn that Hitchcock!!!
Just goes to show you that cowboys should never herd sheep, it will only get them into trouble.
