Qualification is not cause in itself. Any accomplishment that Ann Richards made as a cowgirl was only ceremonial. Photos of her indoors outnumber those of her outdoors practically 20 to 1, and the latter are always taken at political rallies - not in any context that is rustic or even Texan.
